Quarantine Collage

So many people are having a hard time mentally, emotionally, physically with the Stay At Home order and social distancing, it’s not all that difficult for me. Yes, I do miss getting to spend time with my family and friends. I don’t really have friends that I hang out with (other than a great group of ladies for Bunco once a month). I really miss my grandchildren. I’ll set up a Zoom and request a drive-by too. But for the most part I spend my days with a wonderful husband and get to do something I enjoy, making cards and anything else artsy.

From my Journal of Things I Say.

I’ve played with this journal for a while now on my own just trying out new products and techniques, but yesterday I took my first Facebook Live class with Dyan Reaveley, she is a very talented, flamboyant, beautiful, snarkey, hilarious Brit that brings so much joy to creating.

I may have to take a break from card making for a bit to collage and paper piece magazine images. It’s so much more fun than painting baseboards (now THAT would make me nuts).
